Available in 40, 50, and 60 weights - the higher the number, the finer the thread. 50 weight is ideal for general construction and applique. 60 weight is perfect for quilt piecing to achieve and exact 1/4" seam allowance. 40 weight is designed for longarm quilting and decorative stitching - when you want the stitches to show.
